1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the use of our website and the purchase of our made-to-order furniture. By placing an order with Craeton, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

2. Orders

2.1 Custom Orders: All furniture sold by Craeton is made to order based on your specifications. Once an order is placed and confirmed, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
2.2 Order Confirmation: After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. Please review this confirmation carefully and contact us immediately if there are any errors.
2.3 Lead Time: The production lead time varies depending on the complexity of the order. Estimated delivery times will be provided at the time of order confirmation.

3. Payment

3.1 Pricing: All prices are listed in Great British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include taxes, delivery charges, or other fees unless otherwise specified.
3.2 Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total order value is required to confirm your order. The deposit is non-refundable.
3.3 Final Payment: The remaining balance is due before delivery. Orders will not be shipped until full payment is received.
3.4 Payment Methods: We accept BACS as our main payment method. Payments must be made in full and cleared before production begins.

4. Delivery

4.1 Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery location and size of the order and will be added to your invoice at the time of order confirmation.
4.2 Delivery Timeframe: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control. Craeton is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.
4.3 Delivery Acceptance: It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accessible and that the furniture can be moved into your space. Additional charges may apply for difficult deliveries.
4.4 Inspection: Upon delivery, you must inspect the furniture for any visible damage. Any issues should be reported to Craeton within 48 hours of delivery.

5. Returns & Cancellations

5.1 Custom Orders: Due to the bespoke nature of our products, all sales are final. Cancellations are not accepted once production has begun.
5.2 Defective Products: If your furniture arrives with a defect, Craeton will, at its discretion, repair or replace the item at no additional cost. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to report any issues.
5.3 Return Shipping: If a return is authorized, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.

6. Warranty

6.1 Warranty Period: Craeton provides a 12 month Limited warranty on all our furniture against defects in materials and workmanship.
6.2 Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, alterations, or improper care.
6.3 Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, please contact Craeton with details of the issue and proof of purchase. We may request photos or other documentation to assess the claim.

7. Liability

7.1 Limitations: Craeton’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our furniture.
7.2 Force Majeure: Craeton is not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Design Rights: All designs, images, and content on the Craeton website are the intellectual property of Craeton. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our designs without permission.

9. Governing Law

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.

10. Amendments

Craeton reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them before placing an order.
